As those who stalk my dA might know, I've been colouring manga lately. It's quite fun, not that hard, but very time-consuming. Shortly, a good hobby for slackers like me : D!

Ehm, so sometimes I do some colouring in between writing or GFXing, when I get stuck. I mean, I need to do something, right? Especially with crappy internet. Thanks to comments from my dear Tsukiko-sama, I've decided to play the Starry Sky otome game series. Now I admit that the only otome games I've played before were Kiniro no Corda 1 for the PC and Tokimeki Memorial Girls Side 2nd Kiss for the DS and I can't truly say that I enjoyed playing them or so, but ohwell. They did help me fill in the time of when I felt bored anyway.

So, I started this game with great expectations, especially after having seen the character design and the OP. So when I first ran it, I was 'wtf' at the character design. Why, you ask?
THEY ARE NOT AS HOT AS ON THE COVER, OK? HONEY BEE. WTF.
OK.
Well, that's not entirely true. Kanata looks better overall in the game than on the game package cover, but DANNGGG. TOMOE YOH, GO AWAY.
I mean, seriously. Why is it that no one complains about him looking FREAKING STONED through the whole game? Even when he was fighting with Kanata he still looked so stoned that I just couldn't help but to quickquickquickclickclickclick the scene away.

But yeah, that was my first impression on this visual novel-gameplay otome game. It's for all ages, which is good, since I don't feel like playing an otome eroge game. =_=
Anyway. I first wanted to go with Tomoe Yoh until I saw him in the game. I guess Kanata-sama is just the best after all >____>

Apart from the fact that I'm having exams right now (and no, they're not going too smoothly, but I think I still have a chance of passing them all), as well as the fact that I feel stressed out for some unknown reason, I feel very, very well.

Actually, even more than well. I've lately been suffering from a certain obsession. Not even a normal obsession.
SW hime-sama shall surprise you for once. Lately, she hasn't been fan-girling non-stop over KPop (although, she does admit having watched some Inkigayo videos today, which she enjoyed a lot, especially while eating some yummy pizza), nor has she had scary obsessions over bishies.

Retiring?

It's been playing around in my head a lot lately, the idea of retiring from MF. Earlier, a few weeks ago, I went on a hiatus from AS and I'm planning to return to MF, but when I decided to take the hiatus, I realized that it was really stressrelieving.
It made me realize I really needed it, stressrelieving.
Just like when I closed down requests, god, how great that was. I never had any stress-attacks again. Until just recently. Which caused me to go on a hiatus from AS.
Now I have to admit the hiatus really had to do with me losing interest in AS, so knowing myself I'll come to love it again after taking a good, long break from. A really good break.
But that's not going to happen with MangaFox. So I'm retiring. For good. I don't feel like it anymore. Noez makes me feel so stressed out and the staff in general just puts a lot of pressure on my fifteen-years old body and mind. So I made up my mind and I'll pm Hanging Gallow sometime soon, after Chalice has finished her exams and tell her that I'm going to retire. I've given up on MangaFox' GFX section and other fora.

And secretly I know I'm retirinig too because so many people dear to me in the staff are retiring/have retired as well, but I don't care if it's wrong or not. It's not wrong for me to follow my friends, at least. That's what I think.

Other than that, have been listening to Bonamana non-stop, and still am. Can't wait till the time when I'll grow sick of this song and go listen to another song instead of watching that dance break over and over. Maybe then I'll finally get myself to think that Donghae does not look that hot while dancing. Until then, I'll just enjoy the Donghae moments as much as I can.

My firefox is acting odd. The layout as it is right now looks so screwed up because the fontsize is way bigger than it should be and the alignment is not justified. It looks proper in Internet Explorer and Seamonkey though, so I suppose it's just FF acting strange. Teehee.
Ohwait. It's normal again. 8D Oh nevermind. It's not. ._. I hate this.

I've been in a bad mood recently. I only seem to be feeling really happy once a day and that's around three o'clock afternoon. No idea why.

I really lost it yesterday. Just all of a sudden. It's funny since I didn't realize how stressed out I was till it became holiday. Do you know how depressing it is to discover that you have a horrible amount of things to do while you're actually supposed to be free?

It's been such a horrible month, March, that is. I never really like it. School's killing me. Good thing is, I DIDN'T fail Biology. For the first time this year. lol. (^ that's sad, really.)

I UPDATED. You can't believe it, now, can you? ;D NEITHER CAN I 8D Er. Added 5 icons, including Key, Miura Haruma, Taeyeon and Aragaki Yui. Hosting it on Imageshack, so if the images aren't working properly, blame the frog.

March brought me some awesome new songs too. For example, Run, Devil, Run. I was looking on jpopasia everyday and then suddenly, it was there. Yuri looks so gorgeous in it, Hyoyeon finally got some (not that I'm really a Hyoyeon fan) more lines and Sunny's parts seem to be a bit more catchy than the rest? O: Sooyoung hwaiting! Their version was just better than Ke$ha's.

Tohoshinki's Toki wo Tomete wasn't too bad overall. The way JaeJoon opened it was kind of a turn off, but I loved Changmin's part in the refrain (Changmin ah... Why are you so thin? q_q). The sound of clocks ticking makes me feel sleepy, lol.

NEWS' Sakura Girl was a sliiiiight bit different than I expected. The song starts a bit too upbeat for my taste to accept it properly. RYO GOT SLAPPED. WTH. The song's starting to get really too catchy.

Arashi's Troublemaker got such an effing catchy refrain that it makes me want to pull my hair out. klajsgdfaiuw. I'm serious. I'll be bald by tomorrow probably. The MV is really distracting and kinda cute with the random fruit and food. The clothes are a bit, er, too much, but OK. I can live with it. At least no crazy twirls like in Truth XD

I just heard KAT-TUN's D-Motion yesterday, while it came out two months ago. Ohmygah, I'm fail. 'Nyway. It's catchy like crazy, but the autotune was such a turnoff the first time I heard it q_q Anyway, it's better than Love yourself ~Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki~ -.-;; Jin~

Okay, so I'll come clean. I don't really watch much of sports, apart from Grand Slam tournaments and great tennis tournaments. Other than that, I don't actually give a crap about sports! The ones fighting over the television on a usual Saturday night are my dad and my cousin against my ten years old sister over the television. Basically Kids shows vs. Soccer/Football (for the British people here). But I usually would never join any of both sides. Reason is simple, I don't care~

However, lately I've been joining their war as well. Reason: THE OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES 2010. Vancouver, you know? VANCOUVER. I've been following it like a maniac, even though I don't give a crap about speed skating usually, neither do I for snowboarding or bobsleighing. So why did I end up watching it?
Nationalism. Ohgod. What it can do with one. I've been watching how the speed skater Dutch Kramer got disqualified on the track of ten kms because of his coach's mistake (even though he won ;_;). The poor guy. Oh, also, how Sauerbreij got a golden medal with her snowboarding. She was great, despite the pressure. And tonight, how the Dutch men's pursuit on speed skating lost to USA. Ohgod. ._. I'm not even going to comment on that. I suppose Kramer was stressed out. Whatever.

Anyway, I've also been watching how Kim Yu-Na shows her wonderful and flawless techniques with the figure skating. I loved her performance, it was awesome. And I don't even know what's considered 'good' with figure skating! Japanese Asada did great too *O*

Okay. People may not really be aware of this, but those so-called creatures/human-beings many know as 'fangirls' { urbandictionary: Girls who are fanatical about a particular person, group of people, or idea. } just need a few moments in their short lives to rant. You know, to let their absurd fangirls powers go loose and blah blah and rant about someone's hair and blarblarblar.

So do I need a KPop fangirl rant. C:

First off, I'll start off with my conclusion, since it'll be no good ending with it, since it has nothing to do with the whole rant I'm going to have anyway.

Conclusion:
Key oppa dancing to girl groups is total mindrape.

Okay, that was it.

'Nyway. I noticed I'm really lacking behind in KPop world. Therefore I decided to check out soompi a bit more often than I used to. Anyway, I find myself listening to Chu~ - f(x) all the time while I absolutely despise this song. DESPISE. And that while I hardly use the word 'despise'!
I just don't like Amber. Her rap is just really the only part I would skip all the time if I had the ability to apart from having to move that player thing all the time. I love Victoria for some odd reason, but I really, REALLY don't like Amber. And Krystal really looks like Jessica. Thank god I haven't been getting confused with them though.

SNSD's new Oh! isn't really quite as good as people think it is. At the moment it is the most viewed video at jpopasia (and to think it was originally a site for jpop?). I like SNSD; don't have anything to hate them about, 'cept for the whole racist thing from which I don't even have confirmation if the rumours are true, but oh well. I discovered yesterday that my b-day is actually one day after SooYoung's! She's my favorite. So funny and her legs are so long, gosh. I mean. Gee.
HAHA. Lame.

I'm supposed to be doing homework. Supposed to. And just when my friend confronted (more like joking) me with the fact I tend to procrastinate with my hw till it's nine o'clock and suddenly realise I have to redo a History test the day after. Like today.

This week is project week. I'm somewhat ecstatic about this, since we'll be going to Amsterdam tomorrow for the whole day, and we'll be granted one and a half hour to walk around in the town by ourselves too (SHOPPING OHYEAH). As for the rest, I get one whole day off on Thursday, Friday just class for the morning. Monday (today) was just a morning with class too. It's relaxing, really.

Ever since I closed down gfx requests, I've been feeling lots more relaxed and it works like gold. GFX-wise, I have the feeling I've been able to polish my skills in one month more than I had in the five months I've been taking requests. I'm really glad so. As well as I've taken my first step to collaborations; The Break - SW (read: Sadist - Masochist/Senpai - Kouhai) collab is going okay. I feel horrible doing something to the collab he set up wonderfully, but we'll be passing it to each other while changing it till we're satisfied, so I suppose that's a good thing.
Apart from that, I have also done a collab with aioii, my wonderful kouhai:

I'm working on a collab with a complete group too... It goes AM > SW > aioii > Scan / SinX^ > appie. It's for TRC's b-day. She'll better keep it a bit long, otherwise my effing long head-breaking thinking over what to do with the great base AM started will go to waste.
And then there's the collab I have with my not-so wonderful sister. I'll just shut up about that one (just kidding).

oh. lol. :D Happy new year, nobody-who-is-reading-this-lifeless-blog (Satoru~).

I'm feeling über dead right now. I have quite some things lined up to do, I believe, which includes cleaning Le Gardenie chapter 1 for Chocolate Fudge. I'm just so tired to do it. I mean, I didn't do much today or something, except for doing 7 pages of homework for Dutch (I hate my life).

AnimeStep has become enjoyable again, with Break and I's new way of conversing (spamming each other's profile with non-stop nonsense about how scary/how much a freak he is, so the page will stratch. It's so much fun). :] Also, we're doing a restart on our collab, which is a very relaxing thought for me, as he's the one picking the render this time. His render picking skills are über~

I'm happy I closed down requests @ MF though. My life's been lots less hectic ever since. >w< We set up a new channel for mangafox, by the way (#mf-channel @ rizon.net) and it's going surprisingly well. A few new regular visitors are appie, AM, flatcat and ayamemizu. :3 They're nice. Some of them are crazy -glare at appie and AM- and others are nice :3

I'm supposed to be QCing Crash! right now. At least, my current nick at IRC (#cfscans @ rizon.net) says so. But I need a kind of break and I suddenly thought of some statements on nicknames I thought were reasonable. Feel free to ignore this or something. xD

Tips and tricks on choosing a nickname for a forum.

{x} Be original. Okay, this sounds like a useless tip or something, but seriously, I mean, BE ORIGINAL. Naming your username after your favourite manga/anime/drama/movie/w/e character would be a quick way of choosing your username, but it's incovenient when you were to hate that character in the end and you'll have to request a name change, starting all over again. Not cool. Also, there can be multiple Sakura Mikans lurking at the same forum in no time.
{x} Try to avoid 'special' characters, such as hearts, stars, crosses, whatsoever. It's incovenient to login with. I mean, at home it is, obviously, easy, if you make your computer remember your username. However, once you'll have to login at another computer, it'll be tons harder, causing you to lose time and perhaps end up not logging in at all. Avoidavoidavoid.
{x} Keep it simple, and clean as well. Let's not put our NaMeS SpELleD LikE ThIS. It's an eyesore to look at and causes one to not take you serious. Oh, also, xOxOx names are kind of...
{x} Good nicknames start with either humour, a good quote or simply something inspiring. Short's the way to go. Try to make it something one can remember allllll the time and not something everyone might use as a nick (i.e. not ChocolateLover10101, but TheRandomChocolate)
{x} Japanese-ish names in romaji have a great effect on Anime or Manga fora! They make you seem especially familiar with Japanese and might cause you to get more respect. By Japanese names, once again, I don't mean the name of your favorite anime character, but something that can get caught in someone's brain easily (Kyotis, Satoru)
{x} HOWEVER, names in Japanese hiragana, katakana, kanji or whatsoever is absolutely not recommended. Same goes for Ancient Greek, Chinese, Korean, Arabian, etc.. Reason is to be found at tip 2!
{x} Birthdate in your nickname is big NONO. You see it everywhere, but it doesn't give much of impact on the username itself, does it? So, try to avoid it. Even if the first username you chose for was taken already, NEVER ever use a birthdate. Doooon't.
{x} Lastly, once you've chosen a username, don't change it every minute you get the chance to. It causes people to look down at you and confuses them. It's the name you'll be known for on the e-world and it makes things more conveniently for you if you stick to the same all the time. Give some love to your username!

Wow. New entry already? I feel so depressed. Updating blogs regularly is really not my thing. Makes me remind of keeping a diary just because it sounded cool back in Primary. ._.;;

I screwed up German, seriously. And I'm seriously pissed at my teacher too. When we asked him about stuff and told him he was asking impossible things, the only thing he did was ignore us and laugh. EUGH. He pisses me off so badly. >.> Normally I'd like to bite people's heads off when they piss me off (eh, Pezz ;D), but his head is just too big, to fatty and too eugghhhh to even look at. ._.

1. Don't steal. Seriously, just don't. I make things with a looot of care and spend time in it. Sure I am happy when you use them, but it'd be nice if you wouldn't put on your names on it or claim them to be yours. A link to my blog would be really nice, but you don't have to, unless otherwise stated.
2. None of the pictures/images used are mine.
3. If you want to redistribute my graphics, please do so with my permission. You can reach me at her.wings[at]hotmail[dot]com.
4. Don't use anything I make for bases. This includes textless avatars.
5. Resources are for personal usage only.
6. Please don't copy my HTML or CSS. Though there isn't much to copy anyway.
7. The ToU may be changed whenever I feel like it. You are ought to check so now and then. No buts.
